Friday night at Vertigo’s was the second edition of Rock ‘n Rock Cabaret. It was a lovely time. Wild Records Recording artist Luis & The Wildfires played, a pin up lounge was set up with Octavio of Winkytki, Sabina Kelley, Heidi Van Horne, and a few of Tiki Ray’s wonderfully carved tikis.

Ava Garter and I attended the Rock The Bells release party on Tuesday. Guerilla Union announced the new lineups for the 2008 Rock The Bells festival at the secret party in Claremont, CA. Surprise performances by Wale, Jay Electronica, Murs, Raekwon, Supernatural, De La Soul were amazing, but the night really got exciting when the reunited legendary hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest took the stage after a long hiatus.

I attended Marco Patino, a photographer recently featured on Latination TV, birthday BBQ Saturday. The BBQ was quite fun, despite the freezing temperature when the sun went down! After bearing the cold all I could Chris Gomez, Marla Maraschino, Rick Miller, Megan, and Amy went out to Pasadena to bowl.
